Torch Run Super Plunge

The Torch Run Super Plunge is a powerful fundraising and awareness initiative benefiting Special Olympics Rhode Island. Each year, a dedicated group of participants takes on an extraordinary challenge—plunging into near-freezing ocean waters every hour, on the hour, for 24 consecutive hours.

This extreme endurance challenge calls for 24 full plunges over 24 hours, showcasing the determination and heart behind the cause. Since its launch in 2013, the Super Plunge has become one of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s most unique and talked-about fundraising events, pushing participants to their physical and mental limits in unwavering support of Special Olympics Rhode Island athletes.
