Special Olympics RI Magazine TV Show

Special Olympics Rhode Island Magazine is a half-hour television show produced and hosted by Special Olympics Rhode Island Athletes. Cox Communications, Inc. provides studio time, equipment and direction from their dedicated staff. The show consists of three or four segments lasting five to seven minutes each. The show includes local TV celebrities; profiles of Special Olympics athletes, coaches and sponsors; previews of upcoming program and fundraising events; and interviews with families and volunteers.
Special Olympics Rhode Island Magazine won First Place honors at the 1999 NECTA and 2003 Necta Public Service Awards sponsored by BRAVO. The show airs Sundays at 11:00 am and Tuesdays at 7:30 pm on COX3.
