High School Unified Sports

Project UnifyProject Unify is a program to activate youth for Special Olympic and people with intellectual disabilities.  The focus of this project is high school based Unified Sports program, which is endorsed by the Rhode Island Interscholastic League and the RI Department of Education.  This program is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

Currently the following unified sports are offered: Fall Season – Unified Volleyball and Spring Season – Unified Basketball.

Participating high schools include: Barrington, Bishop Hendricken, Central Falls, Cranston East, Cranston West, Coventry, East Greenwich, Middletown, Mt. Hope, North Kingstown, North Providence, Ponaganset, Portsmouth, Smithfield, Toll Gate, Tollman, Warwick Vets and Woonsocket.
