Traditional Basketball: Eight-week league play is traditional full court held at Wheeler Farm School starting in January and finishing with a State Tournament in late February at Providence College. Individuals Skills competition is offered for athletes of lower ability at Providence Country Day School in late February. Skills Competition consists of a series of stations: target pass, spot shot and ten-meter dribble.
Basketball Coaching Guide
Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding: Eight-week training programs held at Yawgoo Valley Ski Resort beginning in early January and ending with the State Winter Games in late February. Events accommodate novice, intermediate and advanced ability levels and includes downhill, slalom and giant slalom. For those athletes with lower ability or just beginning, SORI offer the Glide and Super Glide.

Nordic Skiing and Snowshoeing: Eight-week training programs held at Pulaski State Park beginning in early January on Sunday mornings from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Athletes compete at the State Winter Games held at Yawgoo Valley Ski Resort in late February. Events offered in Nordic Skiing are the 1K, 3K, 5K and 10K Unified. Snowshoeing events offered are 25M, 50M, 100M, 200M and relays. Races are designed to be appropriate for athletes of every ability level.

Nordic & Snowshoeing Schedule
Unified Volleyball: Eight-week unified league play held at Johnson & Wales University Harborside Campus beginning in March and ending with a State Volleyball Tournament in early May at Bryant University. Teams of all ability levels are welcome to participate and will be divisioned according to ability levels for the State Tournament.
Volleyball Coaching Guide
Unified Bowling: Eight-week program where teams train at individual bowling centers throughout Rhode Island. Teams consist of 4 persons. A Ten pin bowling tournament is held at East Providence Lanes in late March.
