Events |
- Event
1: Target Pass
Purpose: To measure skill in passing a basketball.
- Event
2: Speed Dribble
Purpose: To measure the speed and skill with which
the athlete can dribble a basketball, under the
stress of time.
- Event
3: Spot Shot
Purpose: To measure an athlete's skill in shooting a
basketball.

Interested in Nordic Cross Country Skiing or
Snowshoeing?
Practices will begin Sunday
January 6, 2008 at Polaski Park - with team meetings. Official
practices to prepare for the Winter Games in New
Hampshire and at Yawgoo Valley. Bring your ski
equipment, clothing and a smile!

Unified Volleyball

 The
Unified Volleyball season will begin
February 26, 2008. League play will be held on Tuesday
evenings and will continue through April 20, 2008.
The State Tournament will be held April 20, 2008 at
Bryant University.
Proper athletic attire is required. This will consist
of a T-shirt with name printed on them, athletic shoes
and athletic type pants or shorts.
Team roster should be returned
no later than February 8, 2008 to the Special Olympics Rhode Island Office

Unified Bowling

- All
teams should bowl two strings per week and are
responsible for the cost of each week's bowling.

Unified Bowling Coordinators are responsible for
keeping track of weekly bowling scores.

Athletes who are using ramps must provide their own
ramps for competition
